No. Edventurer is a part-time tuition hub providing educational support for home-educated families.
Our focus is tuition in Maths, Science and Oracy, taught through a project-based approach that develops transferable skills for life.
Children attend one day a week as part of their wider education at home.
Maths, Science and Oracy are mapped to the National Curriculum, and brought to life through real-world questions, investigations and projects.
We welcome enquiries from families of children with SEND. As our programme involves a high degree of participation, independence and group learning, we consider each child’s individual needs and whether Edventurer is an appropriate fit.
We track progress through observation, children’s work, and questions and tasks suited to each child’s needs, with a focus on understanding and depth. Parents receive a summary at the end of each Learning Adventure.
Yes. Children are supervised throughout the day, including during learning sessions, transitions, lunch and outdoor breaks.
Children bring their own lunch, a snack and a refillable water bottle. Lunch can be hot or cold and water can be refilled on site. We encourage healthy eating.
