Our philosophy

Our guiding beliefs

Three beliefs that shape how children learn at Edventurer.

Navigating a changing world

Children are growing up in a world of rapid technological, social and environmental change that is transforming how we live, work and access knowledge. Education must help children develop the uniquely human skills to adapt to an uncertain future — curiosity, creativity, sound judgement, communication, collaboration and the confidence to keep learning.

Giving children agency

We believe children are capable of far more than they are often given the opportunity to express. Children should not be passive recipients of knowledge, but active participants in their learning — developing the confidence to make choices, take increasing responsibility and the belief that they can make a meaningful contribution.

Learning to shape the world

Education should be more than learning facts and preparing for exams. Children should develop the knowledge, skills, sense of purpose and ambition to apply what they learn beyond the classroom, contributing to and helping improve the world around them.
